Who We Are
The four founders of Family History Documentaries are just a small part of a close-knit family with roots in Richmond, Virginia. If you've ever been to St. Anthony’s Lebanese Food Festival, you've probably seen us! When we’re together, you’ll find us debating everything (serious and unserious topics alike), dreaming up what-ifs (like a family commune on some land), or brainstorming various new ventures (like this business, for example).
One day, while we were talking about some old stories we’d heard from parents, aunts, uncles, and grandparents, Nick raised a good point: what a shame that there has been no good way to preserve these incredible stories over the years! Memories were being shared in passing from one generation to the next, but meaningful details were being lost along the way. Then it hit us - there is nobody more capable of storytelling than us! We have extensive experience in interviewing, journalism, videography, editing, and marketing; and our lives revolve around spending time with those we love.
We believe one of the most valuable gifts you can give is passing down stories, lessons, culture, and love — all from and for the people closest to you. So, we’ve turned our passion for family bonding and storytelling into a business with a simple mission: preserving your loved ones' greatest stories for generations to come.

Leslie
Marketing and Relationships Manager
Leslie shares the team’s passion for storytelling and honoring family legacies. She was blessed with grandparents who lived well into their nineties, so she was raised hearing memories, history, and lore from decades past. She has grown to appreciate how those stories shaped her world — and were shaped by the world around us. Leslie’s interest in curated storytelling is rooted in her undergraduate studies in journalism and has evolved through her career in marketing. In addition to supporting this family venture, she is a Brand Manager for a Fortune 200 company in her hometown of Richmond.
