Frequently Asked Questions

  • We strive to conduct interviews within four weeks of being requested. We'll contact you quickly to schedule the interview at a time and location that's convenient for you.

  • We'll come to you and interview you wherever you're comfortable. Your living room or dining room table are options, but it's totally up to you.

  • Yes! We have professional lighting kits, audio equipment, cameras, tripods, and videographer. We're the pros here; so you don't need to worry about any of the details. We'll set everything up when we arrive for the interview, and Cynthia will make sure multiple cameras are properly framed and that lighting and audio is great. All you have to do is relax and talk.

  • Think of this is a pressure-free conversation with a friend. This is an easy-going interview with just two people in the room (Brandon and Cynthia). Brandon asks the questions. Cynthia is the videographer and primary video editor. We'll give you time to think, laugh, pause, or whatever else you need to do. If you choose one of our editing packages, we can clean up pauses and coughs and those "off the record" statements you instantly regret saying, etc. We're on your side and want to make this as comfortable as possible to share your story.

  • Please try to avoid any big plans on Interview Day. Some interviews might be done in less than two hours. Other interviews might take three or four hours. Unless an unforeseen emergency arises, we do all of our interviews in one day.

  • You'll receive the first version within three weeks. If revisions are requested, that will require a little bit of additional time.

  • This is your 100% your video! You own the video. You can do whatever you want with it. Most people just share it with loved ones. But you're welcome to publish the video if you want, use snippets for social media, or whatever else you want to do. We never use images or videos of you for marketing without permission.
